Microneedling with PRP over the scalp targets regions of hair loss or thinning. It helps stimulate hair growth and improve blood flow to hair follicles, resulting in increased hair growth, decreased hair loss, and thicker, fuller hair.
PRP (platelet rich plasma) comes from a small sample of your own blood, spun in a centrifuge to separate the plasma, rich in platelets and growth factors, from the red blood cells. It is used for hair regeneration in both male and female pattern baldness and thinning hair.
Microneedling uses a device with tiny needles to create small punctures in the scalp. These create channels that help deliver the PRP deeper into the scalp.
